Postcard Inn, Backline Music Group, & the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central and Northern Florida, Suncoast Region present an event to grant wishes with the help of young talent & Walk the Beach for a good cause..
WHO: Postcard Inn on the Beach, Backline Music Group & the Make-A-Wish Foundation, host a beach walk & concert for the community, corporate businesses, families and friends who would like to enjoy young talented aspiring musicians and are ready to walk & rock the beach! The submission process is still underway and many bands are eager to enjoy the surf and sun of St. Pete beach while playing for friends and family.
WHAT: This is not just an ordinary walk! The entertainment, “Kids Rock” will feature four or five local bands (ages 18 and under) The event with feature young musicians to develop artistically and provides them a professional atmosphere to perform in… something not a lot of young bands get the chance to do. What a fun way for them to help an amazing cause with their amazing talents…and fitting, because the Make-A-Wish Foundation helps children throughout the community who need a lift and a breath of fresh air in their challenged lives…in the form of a wish!
Join friends, family, colleagues and the St. Pete Beach community for a one-mile walk and beach party at the trendy Postcard Inn right on the beach! Start a team and recruit members—you can help grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions in Pinellas.
For the walk itself, guests will enjoy a complimentary breakfast, BBQ lunch from Wildwood BBQ & Burger, as well as, games, music, entertainment, and great prizes for a registration fee of $10. Beach Walk: Registration begins 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Beach Walk starts 10:00 until 11:30 a.m.
BBQ Lunch: PCI Beach Bar 12 noon to 1:00 p.m.
Kids Rock the Beach goes live on stage at 2pm-6pm
Make A Wish Pool Party Sponsored by Barefoot Wine 6:30 p.m. – 10 p.m., guests can purchase VIP passes through Backline Music Group (to purchase passes call 813-250-0011, or go to www.backlinemusicgroup.com) for $20.00 in Advance and $25.00 at the Door. There are only 250 passes available and we will sell out. 25% for every pass sold will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. VIP Passes include: 2 complementary drinks, and a featured live performance on stage at the PCI Pool.
